Very true...there are a few programs around. I should have made a point to say " MORE public money should be spent".
There should be more of these programs and aimed at a wider scope of the public as well. There is government assistance available, but not enough, IMO.

What about the 10 000 BC forestry jobs that have been lost in the last little while? Everybody in the industry here on the North Island (Vancouver Island) is out of work for an indefinite amount of time.

If they have enough plutonium for 10 weapons, why keep the facility? Sure blow up the tower to ease sanctions...they didn't need it anyhow. I'd demo the reactor too if it meant economic aid and the lifting of embargoes on my country.

Bankruptcy will affect your application as it is considered an obligation to the judicial system. (You are responsible to the court for 9 months until your bankruptcy is discharged.) After your discharge, you are good to go.

The CF does pay for your education: in the form of reimbursement. As for the length of the contract, it is my understanding that they are all different. This is what the CFRC has told me.

Good on you for being honest. It shows character. The same thing happened to me a few years ago. I too was completely honest with my past and was deferred for a year. I did my time and now I have applied again.
