Pay Raise For Fiscal Year 2006

There was some sort of meeting on the air side, don't ask me when or who, but the sqn chief sent an email based on this information.  Unofficially, there is going to be a pay raise back dated to 1 Apr 06, probably not coming out until Oct 06.  Hopefully in the 2% range, as were the previous raises.

How much will i be paid?

Depending on the situation, if you have a partner or not, you get incidentials or separation allowance.  Incidentials are $17.30 I believe, and it goes down to 75% of that amount after 30 days.  Separation allowance is $13/day.  You cannot receive both, one or the other.  I know on the reserve...

    Question on Rank and Pay

The Fighting 47: I would tell your friend to request a master pay record for the time period in question.  It will show a break down of incentive, days paid, including travel assistance.  I'm not sure how it works in the army world, but at where I work, which is air, you have access to all this...

How to contact IAP OCT at St Jean quickly?

Just call the base operator, ask for the Base Duty Officer, and leave a message for him to call at a certain time.  It's not the big deal their making it out to be, and it's what they're there for.  Hopefully they haven't turned of their phone or pager, though.

    Bizarre phantom pay!

It is made clear to the mbr that he or she is responsible for their pay, and as soon as they see a mistake, they should bring it to the OR ASASP.  You know what you should be making, pay to pay, and if you see any extra, ask why, as this mbr has been suggested to do.  Mistakes do happen, any...

    Pay Stubs

UIC is a unit identifcation code, or something like that, all he has to do is go to his unit's OR and ask for it.  If he has access to the DIN, he can get it from the online address book.

Another example of the CF screwing you

Good day all, RMS Clk here.  Several poiints, there's a production schedule from RPSR that tells us when Class A cutoffs are, that means the sign in sheets need to be in not the day off the cutoff, but a couple of days before hand, especially if we're talking about 50 sign in sheets to be...

    LWOP (Leave WithOut Pay)

Air Reserves has Exempt Drill and Training, I'm sure it's the same in the army.  From the Aide Memoire: PART 6 â “ EXEMPT DRILL AND TRAINING References: A. CFAO 49-11 Annex D B.  Adm (Per) Instr 2/93 C.  DAOD 5001-12 D.  1 CAD HQ 5323-1 (A1 RCM) 18 February 2002 601 â “ General 1. All...

    Problem

If your going to mail it and not hand carry, as the above said, make your own copies, mm, do this even if you hand carry it.  Then send it registered mail, making sure it has to be signed for and has a tracking number, that way you can track when it eventually arrives.

    job wanted

There are non-trade specific positions overseas.  Check with your Adjt, or Admin O.  There's something that lists the CFPTO positions available.  Your looking for GD positions (General Duties).  You can be more marketable if you get driving training, if you don't already have it.  Hope this helps.

    Regarding RegF

Hey, from the clerk side, a few things.  Check your section and see who takes care of Component Transfer, if you haven't already.  Where I am, Rcds in the orderly room takes care of it.  You have to fill out a CT application, two different types, one which has a section that has the CO's...

Army or Navy? - A Merged Thread

It depends on several things. What trade are you going to be? If it‘s hard navy trade, you‘ll have to do probably have to do a MOC/Enviromental Transfer which would add on more time, as you would also have to go through the BPSO, plus the commands. Just an enviromental trans shouldn‘t be too...

    Pay Freeze

What a load of crock. Don‘t kill me, I am Air, but also a RMS Clk. I don‘t think the pay system between the two elements, army and air are that different. When we first load you in RPSR, which is the system we use to pay our mbrs, we need your SIN and Svc Number, once your validated, which...
