All i know is that i started my application September 1st, and October 31st was offered a job in Infantry. That's pretty damn fast to me. The Captain I was speaking to at my swearing in was telling me I was a record under the new processing system that started in September. -Alex

Especially around the christmas I would think the process would be longer. I *heard* (sorry if this info in inaccurate) that the next selection board was on the 28th of November, and that that was for January 9th Basic. I already know of some that have been offered a position in the infantry...

Luckily my family has supported me thus far with joining the CF. I'm sorry that your father doesn't support you on it though. If it was me it would just fuel my fire to keep going. Good luck.

Hmm, i was looking at that website to try to se eif i could help at all. When scheduling a flight, there is a drop down menu for "Military" where you can enter a number 0-9  for each military personnel. By using this drop down menu, I would think that it would automatically deduct the 10%...

I think anyone can succeed if they believe they can. If your mentality is "damn its going to be too hard, i'm probably not going to make it", you will probably end up failing. Just visualize the goal and make it happen.
