If were a bystander behind the barriers and something like this happened; and it was obvious that medical attention was being provided and my interference wouldn't help at all, you're right, I probably would snap couple photos, because it's something notable and in my world, news-worthy at...
Also, any military parade I've been on has medics standing by at all times, and they're usually really fast to respond to anything. I'd stand, watch, and take photos too if there were medics there in a few seconds.
Is it possible he was loaded on of the of the flights that goes to and from Germany in support of Afghanistan? It'd be a shame to waste that many taxpayers' dollars on a flight just for him. Shoulda sent him CMTT.
If these thing have the kind of suspension I've experienced with other Mine Protected vehicles (and judging from their little promo video it is) We won't be allowed to take these off road for fear of shaking them to pieces and killing the crew.
Personally, I'm a huge advocate of capturing memories on film. As long as you follow basic common sense you shouldn't have a problem. THAT BEING SAID, basic is a bad time to do that. It's all about uniformity and all that other fun stuff. Wait until you're a qualified soldier and doing things...
I would be a lot more inclined to feel that all members who deployed were "heroes" if we weren't paid so much. We're fairly compensated for a dangerous job, and I think people would be trying a lot less hard to get tours if there wasn't that pay incentive and a heavily discounted vacation as...
I've noticed that in the last couple years they've pushed through everyone even close to the three year mark to be promoted to Corporal. They made it policy at our battalion that as long as your nose was clean, you were promoted in 3 years. It's by no means an entitlement, just a reward for hard...
While that example is a tad silly; I can see something like this being useful in a high speed environment.

If the PPCLI is anything like how the RCR are doing things, then they're trowing all kinds of nowhere-near-ready-for-promotion Cpls on PLQs, and most 2-3 year corproals who aren't shit-bags can at least get their mods 1-5.
I found some on sale for a great price... almost bought one, but changed my mind as soon as I handled the zipper (zipper came off the tracks on the one I tried on) I didn't think Condor was really known for it's quality.
As long as the vehicle's being used for military purposes, you can wear whatever the hell you want... The duty you're performing will dictate what you wear.
In a few weeks my section will be taking DND plated vehicles on a multi-hour road trip... and we'll be wearing civilian attire.
There's...
Yes.
While I agree a lot of the movies in 3D are stupid (namely those converted from 2D) I think real 3D film making is beautiful to watch, and it adds an extra dimension that cinematographers can play with to manipulate our emotions and suspend our disbelief.
While you might forget you're...
Ignore any source of information except for the info you receive on course; it will just confuse you and make you look like a numpty who plays too much Call of Duty.
Seriously, there's more than enough information given to you to pass the test and beyond. No reason to get more and possible...
You're tested on exactly the drills you were taught in exactly the order you practice them in. IF you fail for anything other than nerves you deserve to get recoursed because you haven't been trying or paying attention or asking for help from the plethora of resources available to you.
It's...
I'm heard rumours that because the infantry is so competitive now, all the guys getting in have some form of post-secondary degree.
Take that for what it's worth.
