One of the interesting points of investigation is what it actually took to create the great ice-sheets. It is known that there is a time when they were. There was also a time when they weren't. That means that they disappeared. It also means that there were times when they appeared. What gives birth to an ice age?
I don't think the IPCC has fully wrapped their heads around that yet.
PS - if I understand the cyclical theory of changes then I think we are past due for a reglaciation.

If we were the only country doing it, maybe that would give pause. But I guess those countries are also all wrong.
In your situation, if all countries did it then at least some of them weren’t just following the leader. We can barely get everyone to agree on anything - if they did, it would be a goddamn miracle.
So, if something is “too hard” because not enough people are doing it, does it mean we shouldn’t do it either?
To use another analogy, should we not bother with trying to stop crimes because there will always be crime anyway?

Sadly not many countries, especially the largest carbon emitters like China, have a tax (or other disincentives) for carbon.
There isn't alot of discussion about some of the challenges with carbon taxes either, which is par for the course these days, sadly...

What surprises me is only 77% of the green part think it true. I would have expected near 100%.
My question, is how is this trending across those parties ?
As for climate change, maybe its fatigue but there is nothing we (Canada) can do. So how about we don't make things harder than they have to be, eh ?
I am currently in Spain and some of the rules here make the Canadian ones look like child’s play lol.
low emission zones, car bans and extra taxes on anything not electric a moped/scooter or bus. They also have target dates to stop selling combustible engine vehicles but have gone further with a target date that will outright ban them.
