Thanks for your reply! I've since accepted an offer for Eng O. EME was my second choice. I'm really looking forward to the physical aspects. That's a big part of the reason I'm leaving the industry for the military!

I think the 'X' indicates an unspecified quantity. That's my guess.

Just looked it up. Annex B, Part 1 lists civilian clothes to bring. It says casual dress pants and shirts.

I know it's unpleasant to receive comments like that from George. If I were you, I would simply not engage him. Even if you feel justified in your comments, you are just destined to loose that battle 99 times out of 100. Having said that, George is right. That question has been asked before.

1- complete degree 2- obtain citizenship 3- with both 1 and 2 in hand, apply as direct entry officer 4- you will start with basic military officer qualification course. 5- complete other phase training to become qualified in our occupation

Congratulations! I'm headed on the 26th from Ottawa too. I'm doing BMOQ though.

Does anyone know when we will receive our first paycheck? Will it be August 30th (since 31st is a Saturday)? or do you figure we'll get paid on September 13th (since 15th is a Sunday). Maybe I'll PM DAA about it if no one knows here.
