I leave for BMQ for infantry in a few weeks and I was just wondering how often do infantry soldiers get moved from one posting to another once trained? Is it mainly via request or does it happen every fairly frequently?

After a year long process my dream is finally here. I get sworn in in November 3rd and commence BMQ November 14th.

I got the unofficial word today from the CFRC in St John's NL that I will be on this BMQ as well and I will have the official offer soon. I am going in for infantry

Good day, I found out today that my background check and everything is completed and I should have something by the end if Oct but I am curious as to how much space is left for BMW slots before Christmas?

Good day, This may be a tough question to answer seeing how garda is the one who does the security check, but would anyone know if references are contacted at the start of the check or towards the completion?

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know if there are any slots remaining on any BMQ courses starting in Oct and Nov?

I am currently in the recruiting process for infantry,  I passed my interview and have been declared medically fit. As of now I'm waiting for my screening to be completed which should have been started this week and I do not anticipate any complications. My question is if everything goes well...

Good day, I was just wondering if the screening process takes longer to complete over the summer? I have all other aspects of the application process completed and I'm juat waiting for the screening to come back.
