I know it takes awhile to get a job offer...but its been 6 months and I haven't even got a interview or medical yet. I applied knowing full well it was gonna take 12-24 months to get in. But no interview or medical even after 6 months?
I recently posted a thread inquiring about if I would be able to re apply for the army down the road if I cancelled my application now due to other opportunities that have come up in life.

I am thinking of cancelling my application. Other opportunities have come up in life and I am curious to know if after cancelling, would I ever be able to apply again if I decided down the road it was something I'd like to try out for again?

Can you join your local reserves after you've applied for the regular force? And then transition to the regular force once your given a job offer? Given how long the process takes with the regular force I'm not seeing a problem in doing this...or am I wrong?

Another question that I have as well is do they deduct rent from you while your in BMQ and at a battle school for infantry training? Cause if thats the case then Im paying two rents? one for my place back home and one for BMQ?
