I definitely feel your dilemma. There's not much I can add to what advice has already been given however I truly believe you have to do what feels right to you. Also, if you do go Reg force, the first contract is usually a 3yr period in which a good part of it is spent in the training system...

Correct. We had another platoon start the exact same day as ours did. This is sometimes referred to as your 'sister platoon'.

That's friggin hilarious!!  I love it! I found the best extra peice of kit I brought was by far tons of ziploc bags, bungy cords and metal tent pegs. The plastic ones won't fit through the holes of your hootch.

What I consider "street camo" is a big fashion statement in my home town as well and I don't have any problems with it. I do not agree with wearing CADPAT as street wear though. Just my 2 cents. Sigopgirl
