A computer which we use consists of hardware and software. The hardware is the cables, monitors and the visible parts of the computer and the software are the programs which make the computer perform its different tasks.
Classrooms were given each a portable scanner, software and each student receives a PDA developed by Scanton. The PDA's are for classroom use only and are specifically used for quiz taking.
Gillard and Bailey's article is a well written, highly effective academic article, utilizing a tone and manner seen in the research circles of education. Compared to the first two articles, Gillard and Bailey's article would fall on deaf ears to a vast majority of the population, and is focused on a slim percentage of the population. It is written for educators and researchers, and can be difficult for the average reader to sort through.
A needs analysis is not just about finding what new technology can be introduced for improved processes; it can pinpoint which areas are not meeting their full potential. Elizabeth Regan and Bridget O'Connor (2002) believe that "A careful needs analysis ensures that training is done for the right things" (p. 214, para. 1). After concluding what areas will benefit from training the organization has to next consider the task of training its self. Training will take time and the work still needs to be done.
Ironically, Williams' article is simplistic considering its topic. She discusses the introduction of technology in a very easy, even tone, making it quite easy for any reader to understand the topic at hand. While it is an article about utilizing technology in the classroom, Williams makes sure that her article can reach multiple audience members at different technological levels. With the topic being technology and knowing how difficult technology can be for both students and teachers, the article attempts to help readers understand the complexities of technology.

Wireless phone jack subscribers can now easily add a telephone jack anywhere in their entire home without even drilling into the walls.
People working within this framework are often unmotivated and uncommitted because their efforts are only meant to maintain a status quo meaning little input is requested or required. If you don't ever change anything, then there's not much need for team participation.
Recent developments in brain studies can help induce a lucid dream state. Some of these types of techniques use things like sound technology or binaural beats to stimulate the part of the brain required for lucid dreaming.
